The Minicopter is a small helicopter made from scrapped parts. Minicopter uses 30 low-grade fuel per minute and can be shot down by SAM turrets. Can be bought at Bandit Camp for 750 scrap. It will come pre-fueled with 100 low grade.

By holding the "Crouch" key you can enable a "Ground Mode" allowing you to drive it like a car and park it as you need.

You can now easily obtain elite crates without a single card thanks to the Minicopter update, here's how:
Before you can do this you're going to need to obtain this list of things:

1 Minicopter;
+/- 200 Low Grade Fuel (Enough fuel to go on the top of the Launch Site building and return to your base);
2 Salvaged Sword's (or other damaging tools/weapons, for more info. check this → https://rustlabs.com/item/sam-site#tab=destroyed-by;filter=0,0,1,0,0;sort=1,0,2)
1 Hazmat Suit;
+/- 350 mL of water;
+/- Enough meds to heal up about 50 HP;

So here's what you need to do step by step:

Land your Minicopter near the Launch Site on the side where the big Launch Site building connects to the perimeter walls (be careful to land it with enough distance [+/- 120 metters at least] to the Launch Site otherwise the SAM Sites will shoot you down);
Walk down to the back of the big Launch Site building while still outside the Launch Site perimeter wall you will see a SAM Site on the top of a wrecked truck on the grass;
Destroy the SAM Site using 1 Salvaged Sword (or use other tool/weapons shown on the link on the top list ↑);
Now if you face the Launch Site big building, to your right there is an entrance, go inside, now to your right again but now inside the Launch Site, you will see a warehouse with a watchtower next to it, go on the top of the watchtower and jump to the rooftop of the warehouse next to it, now you will see another SAM Site on that rooftop, destroy it by using the same method above;
Now this where it get's a bit tricky. Go back to your Minicopter and fly it at low altitude while aproaching from the outside of the Launch Site between the 1st destroyed SAM Site and the entrance that you used (WARNING: This needs to be done correctly otherwise you will get shot down by other SAM Sites on the Launch Site) when you slowly reach the top of the Launch Site there will be more SAM Sites that won't shoot you unless you fly higher than altitude that you just need to land;
Land the minicopter on the the rooftop of the Launch Site big building;
Grab the elite crates from the rooftop;
Fly back to your home using the exact same path that you used before (but obviosly reversed).

And that's it, no cards needed.

As of the July 2020 update, Minicopters no longer spawn near roads. Instead you now buy them at the bandit town for 750 scrap.

You can use your minicopter to fly over to few monuments without needing any cards. For example : The Dome ( be careful while landing ) Water treatment ( your friend has to drop you on the balcony near blue card doors, the balcony is facing silos ) Trainyard ( land on the very top of the biggest building - where keycard doors are, then one of you drop down through the hole ) Launch site ( as mentioned in the other tip )

HOW TO FLY BETTER
The pitch and roll sensitivity is a fraction of your actual sensitivity. Therefore something like a 500 dpi (normal sensitivity) will result in extremely small, but finely tuned movements during flight. Great for making easy landings or having smooth, albeit slow flight.
HOWEVER, if you have the ability to increase your sensitivity to something like, 16,400 dpi, then you basically enter "COMBAT MODE", meaning slight movements of the mouse reflect serious tilting and maneuvering in-flight. This means, after a lot of practice, you can dodge trees while flying low through a forest, or buzzing a monument for a quick drop off or pick up.
Now to combine this, just make sure you have a mouse that lets you not only customize DPI settings, but also switch them on the fly using buttons on the mouse or keyboard. This way you'll always have the option to make a quick and risky escape, or make a smooth, precise landing when needed.
SIDE NOTE
The miniheli pitches (tilting forward and backward) MUCH FASTER than it rolls (tilting left to right). So a majority of your crashes will be from sailing sideways into bases or trees.

If you see a SAM site and you're already within range, fly as fast as you can to dodge the rockets. 1-3 hits wont hurt too much.

You can use mini copters to get into train yard without a keycard / fuse by flying it over the main building and falling on the roof, after healing up to roughly 75HP you can jump down without dying. Make sure you have enough radiation protection, with should be around 25%.
