Surgeon Scrubs

This surgeon suit is craftable if you own the item on Steam, and, in terms of ballistic protection, makes a great alternative for the Hazmat Suit due to not requiring a researched blueprint, and having a decent, mid-tier overall body protection in one piece, rather than separate pieces of clothing to cover all areas, for a relatively cheap crafting cost. It has no real specialisation, other than a decent radiation protection (which still doesn't compete with the hazmat suit) that allows you to go in most places. Therefore, it's really just the fact it's a cool-looking surgeon suit, and offers fair overall protection. For combat purposes, the Surgeon Scrubs positions itself in the mid-tier segment, directly next to armaments such as the Bone Armor kit, Hazmat Suit, and commonly put together clothes sets that lack any specialized pieces of armor.

This item is more akin to bone armor than anything else:
Surgeon Scrubs VS. Bone Armor
  • Projectile: 25% / 25%
  • Melee: 30% / 40%
  • Bite: 8% / 13%
  • Radiation: 15% / 4%
  • Cold: 8% / None.
  • Explosion: 5% / 7%
  • Waterproof: Yes. / No.
  • Craft Cost: 60 Cloth, 3 Sewing Kits. / 15 Cloth, 150 Bone Frags.
  • Workbench: Tier 1. / Tier 0.

So if you switch from bone armor to the scrubs, you gain 11% more rad resist, 8% cold resist, and waterproof which is very useful for oil rig. All you're losing is 10% melee protection, 5% bite (animals), and 2% explosive damage for it.
At 15% radiation resistance, it's no Hazmat Suit (50% Radiation Resistance), but at least you can access far more areas than bone armor. Bone armor is very restrictive in regards to monuments & power substations, but you do need a level 1 bench to start crafting the surgeon scrubs.
Hope this helps someone, good luck everyone.

This is pretty much a poor-man's Hazmat as it only costs 60 Cloth and 3 Sewing Kits with the downside of 25% projectile protection (5% less than Hazmat).
